Behavioral and physiological responses to oral feeding in infants with complex congenital heart disease

Harrison, Tondi Marie

Summary

Infants born with serious heart defects commonly have problems with feeding that persist well into childhood. This project is highly relevant to public health because it will thoroughly describe oral feeding dynamics in these infants and identify areas for future intervention research. Improving feeding will reduce complications and promote the health and well-being of these vulnerable infants.
