The Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics & Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) hosts the annual National Diversity in STEM (NDiSTEM) Conference - the largest multidisciplinary and multicultural STEM diversity event in the country. Attendees come to learn about the latest advancements in STEM research, participate in professional development opportunities, listen to inspiring keynote speakers and more. The event also includes multicultural celebrations and traditions and offers a chance to interact with an inclusive and supportive community of peers and mentors.
The INCLUDE DCC attended the 2022 NDiSTEM Conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico to build awareness of the INCLUDE DCC and the INCLUDE Data Hub among young multicultural trainees and investigators interested in Down syndrome research. Our team offered live demonstrations of the Data Hub and information about training events and opportunities offered by the INCLUDE DCC.
